This botanical garden is located near Arucas, in the vicinity of banana plantations. The Marquis d'Arucas began to make this garden in 1880, with plants he had brought back from his travels, or through exchanges with other families of aristocrats. The many palm trees planted in the garden give it an exotic appearance. It was opened to the public in 1985
